Taxi Confort Maroc

Taxi Confort Maroc operates a premium private transport service targeting tourist and business clientele in Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakech: airport transfers, hourly hires, tourist tours. The commercial challenge was to capture upstream bookings from abroad or the day before travel, without depending solely on phone calls and international platforms charging high commissions.

The platform needed to be simple, reassuring for clients unfamiliar with Morocco, capable of calculating instant pricing per trip, offering multiple vehicle categories, and securely processing online payments. 24/7 reliability and payment trust were the two psychological barriers to overcome for foreign visitor conversion.

I built the platform on WordPress with a conversion-optimized custom theme. The functional core is an advanced booking form with Google Places autocomplete for pickup and dropoff addresses, real-time distance and price calculation via Google Maps Distance Matrix API, and vehicle category selection (sedan, van, premium).

Integration of the Moroccan CMI payment gateway enables secure collection in MAD, EUR, and USD via international cards. An email/SMS confirmation system reassures clients, and a dedicated back-office lets the manager track rides, assign drivers, and issue invoices. SEO targets high-intent tourist queries like 'tourist transport Casablanca', 'Mohammed V airport VTC', with geolocated content and Service structured data. The site is fully bilingual FR/EN.

Delivered: a WordPress booking platform with a Google Places autocomplete form, automatic distance and price calculation through the Google Maps Distance Matrix API, vehicle category selection, CMI payment in MAD, EUR and USD, email and SMS confirmations, and a back-office for managing rides. The site is still live at taxi-confort-maroc.com.

Showing the price before booking and offering secure online payment address the two barriers identified for foreign travelers: uncertainty about the fare and trust in a local provider. The back-office lets the manager assign a driver and issue invoices from a single place, and the bilingual FR/EN site targets tourist queries such as transfers from Mohammed V airport.
