Development of a high-performance WordPress e-commerce platform for a collective of artisans in Casablanca, optimized for international SEO to promote Moroccan craftsmanship.
Challenge
The challenge was to create an e-commerce platform promoting Moroccan crafts internationally, while being easy for artisans to manage. Payment security and multilingual SEO were paramount.
Solution
I developed a custom site with WordPress and WooCommerce, a speed-optimized custom theme, and a simplified product management interface. The focus was on UX and technical SEO.
Results
The platform boosted artisans' international visibility, with a 40% increase in organic traffic in 6 months and a 15% improved conversion rate. The site ranks for key terms in the USA and Europe.
