Marrakech Choral Meeting — International Choral Festival Website

Marrakech Choral Meeting needed an international, bilingual French/English showcase website capable of attracting choirs from around the world and inspiring them to participate. The challenge was twofold: presenting Marrakech's magic as a unique cultural destination while clearly communicating practical information (programme, registration, concert venues). The site also needed to showcase previous editions through photo and video galleries, and be easily managed by the organising team without technical skills.

I developed the festival website on WordPress with a custom theme that brings the Marrakech Choral Meeting's visual identity to life: warm colours, elegant typography, Mediterranean and Oriental atmosphere. The bilingual FR/EN structure offers smooth navigation for international visitors. The sections Le Festival, Cultural Programme, Destination and Gallery are designed to inspire and inform. The WordPress back-office allows the team to update the programme, add photos and manage registrations in full autonomy.

Since its launch, the website contributed to the internationalisation of the festival, with choirs attending from several continents for the 2023 and 2024 editions. The Destination section showcased Marrakech's iconic venues (El Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Medersa, Jemaa el-Fna) as a unique festival backdrop. The organising team now manages all content completely independently.
