SMMD — Moroccan Membrane & Desalination Society Institutional Website

SMMD needed an institutional online presence commensurate with their scientific positioning, to promote research activities, disseminate publications, and attract members and academic partners. The site needed to be bilingual (French/English) to reach the international scientific community, and structured to host SNMS symposium information: scientific programme, committees, invited speakers, and abstract submission guidelines — all with a clean visual identity suited to the academic world.

I developed SMMD's institutional website on WordPress with a clear architecture organised around Home, Committee, Conference, Program, and Contact sections. The bilingual FR/EN site reaches the international scientific community. The SNMS symposium page presents practical information (dates, venue, themes), the detailed scientific programme, and submission guidelines. The sober visual identity — institutional blue, SMMD logo — reinforces the association's credibility among researchers and institutions.

The website allowed SMMD to extend its reach beyond Morocco's borders, attracting international participants and speakers for the SNMS symposium held in Tangier. The Conference section facilitated practical information communication to researchers worldwide. The professional online presence helped showcase the association's work to institutional partners (universities, ministries, international organisations).
