Somapaf — School & Office Supplies E-commerce Morocco
Development of the Somapaf e-commerce website, a Moroccan importer and distributor of school and office supplies based in Casablanca since 2007, with a bilingual multi-brand catalogue.
Challenge
Somapaf, a recognised player in school and office supplies import and distribution in Morocco since 2007, needed an e-commerce platform to digitalise its distribution and reach B2C buyers directly alongside its B2B clients. The challenge was managing a catalogue of hundreds of references across two universes (school and office), with multi-brand management (Premium, Safir Pro, etc.) and a bilingual French/English interface. The site also needed to reflect the seriousness and heritage of the Dar Errachad El Hadita group from which Somapaf originates.
Solution
I developed somapaf.ma on WooCommerce with a clear catalogue architecture organised into two main universes: School Supplies (notebooks, pens, bags, art supplies) and Office (envelopes, binders, consumables). Brand-based navigation allows loyal customers to quickly find their references. The bilingual FR/EN interface broadens accessibility. The visual identity — institutional blue, bilingual logo — reflects the professional positioning and longevity of the company. Complete contact information reassures B2B buyers of the supplier's physical presence.
Results
Somapaf.ma enabled the company to digitalise part of its distribution and reach consumers and small businesses directly. The site records significant traffic peaks at back-to-school season. Brand-based navigation facilitated repeat ordering by institutional clients such as schools and public administrations.
