Moroccan adaptation of the renowned international flower delivery service, offering elegant bouquets and fast delivery across Morocco.

Challenge

Adapt Teleflora's expertise — the worldwide flower-delivery reference since 1934 — to the Moroccan market by building a local e-commerce platform worthy of the parent brand. The challenge: replicate the depth of the international catalogue (bouquets, floral arrangements, complementary gifts) while grounding it in Moroccan realities — local CMI payment, fast national delivery, partner florists across Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier and Agadir.

The Moroccan flower market has its own logic: strong seasonality (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, weddings, mourning), uncompromising demands on freshness and punctuality, sharp price sensitivity. So the store had to feel as elegant as Teleflora's premium international image while being operationally calibrated for Moroccan logistics and capable of scaling during seasonal peaks.

Solution

I built the platform on PrestaShop, picked for its e-commerce robustness and rich module ecosystem. The responsive design highlights large-format floral photography with navigation by occasion (birthday, condolences, weddings, Valentine's Day) and by type (bouquets, arrangements, plants, complementary gifts).

Product pages are optimised for conversion: HD zoom, emotional copy, personalised card suggestions, complementary options (chocolates, plushies, wines). The integration of the CMI (Centre Monétique Interbancaire) payment gateway handles Moroccan card transactions, complemented by cash on delivery for buyers hesitant to pay online.

The back-office centralises logistics: automatic order routing to the partner florist closest to the recipient, delivery slot management, real-time tracking. A seasonal capacity module helps scale operations during peaks. Local SEO is optimised on "flower delivery Morocco", "bouquet Casablanca", "flowers Rabat".

Results

A modern, elegant and fully operational online store that reflects the quality and reliability associated with the Teleflora name in the Moroccan market. The frictionless shopping experience — from bouquet selection to CMI or cash-on-delivery payment — removes the usual hurdles of local floral e-commerce.

National coverage through the florist partner network guarantees freshness and timing, particularly critical on seasonal peaks where the brand handles several hundred orders per day. Local SEO is climbing on high-intent queries, and the platform serves as a scalable foundation for adding new categories in the future (gourmet gifts, floral subscriptions, B2B events).
